Myra & Demre & Kekova Tour

Take an excursion towards the old kingdom of Lycia! The road serpentines behind Kemer and later in the towns of Finike you can admire the beautiful nature and seaside. As you leave your hotel early, make sure you bring a snack with you. In the evening there will be a stop at a café along the way.

During the tour, you will visit the city of Lycia, Mira, now called Demre. Not only visible are mountains, tombs and antique theater, but also the Church of St. Nicholas. There are many legends and stories associated with this saint. It is he who is the real Santa. But you will hear more about these legends as you travel. Bring swimwear with towels as you sail across the bays – one of the islands is partially flooded, as the city of Kekova is sinking! Not only on shore, but also underwater, you can see the ruins of houses and sometimes even amfora. Vessels usually have a specially fitted glass bottom. There will be a stop for swimming. As you sail back up the hill, you will see the ruins of the fortress of Simena and its old sarcophagi.
