General Info about the Princes’ Islands:

Princes’ Islands is one of the neighborhoods in the Istanbul. In Byzantine Empire period, out-of-favor princes and other royalty were exiled on the Princes’ Islands. After 1453, members of the Ottoman family were exiled there too, hence why the islands got their present time. Princes Islands have total 9 different sizes of islands. The only transportation way is buggies, cars are not permitted. Islands have amazing historical mansions with characteristic overhanging balconies. Princes’ islands offer a relaxing environment if you want to escape from the city’s crowd and noise
